From its humble beginnings in Nottingham in 2015, the three-man rock band called BlitZ was formed. Taking their influences from artists like Queen, Kiss, AC/DC, Metallica, Guns ‘n Roses, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, David Bowie and Prince

BlitZ released a self produced EP in 2016 getting a 9/10 from Power Play magazine. In April 2019 they released their Debut Album ‘Welcome To The Rock Show’ through City Of Lights Records. The album got rave reviews from many quarters including Fireworks, Power Play, HRH, Germanys Hardline, Rock Hard, Breakout and Japans Burrn Rock and Metal magazine.

BBC Introducing has featured the band twice when playing Rock City Nights, a tribute to Nottingham’s Rock City. Gaining a good following from gigging in the last 2 years supporting the likes of ‘The New Roses’ from Germany, Australia’s ‘The Black Aces’, ‘Zodiac Mindwarp’ and ‘Marco Mendoza’.

One of the hardest working bands on the circuit, Blitz always give 100 percent in both work blood, sweat and rock ‘n roll tears.

The band are currently adding the final touches to the release of their upcoming album, ‘Fight To Survive’ and planning an extensive series of gigs across the UK to promote it.
